TCAUP CENTENNIAL
In September 1906 Emil Lorch officially founded the architecture program at the University of Michigan with an enrollment of 25 students. Beginning this September and throughout the 2006-2007 academic year, we will celebrate the centennial of the college. Please mark your calendars:

new documentary on the College, and honor Deans Emeriti Robert Metcalf FAIA, B.Arch.'50, and Robert Beckley FAIA.

January 4–6, 2007
Global Place: Practice, Politics, and the Polis
Charles Correa, Shigeru Ban, Kenneth Frampton, Michael Sorkin, Marilyn Taylor, Liane Lefaivre, Lars Lerup, Daniel Solomon, Yung Ho Chang, Saskia Sassen, David Orr, Homi Bhabha, Jaime Lerner, Anne Spirn, John Thackara and others will address intersections and contradictions of the global and the local, with focus on the built environment.
