Steven Christensen is a Lecturer in Architecture at the University of Michigan. He teaches graduate and undergraduate design studios and courses in drawing and construction technology. He holds a Master in Architecture from the Harvard University Graduate School of Design and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Utah. He has previously taught the summer studio at Harvard and was a teaching assistant for core design studios as well as a faculty research assistant. Steven has ten years of professional experience in architecture and interactive media, and has worked for firms including: Preston Scott Cohen, CORE, Gensler, RRP and EFT Architects. He is licensed architect and has been a LEED Accredited Professional since 2007. Steven's independent practice is concerned with the production of vibrant, interactive urban spaces, installations, and structural systems that operate within the gradient between efficiency and effect.
