  FINANCIAL AID SNAPSHOT
   
In 2007, TCAUP students received over $5.1 million in financial aid in the form of merit-based, need-based, and workstudy funds.
They also received subsidized and unsubsidized loans of over $5.8 million from a variety of internal and external sources.
Over $1.5 million was awarded to students to work within TCAUP, either as graduate student instructors, research assistants, or administrative support personnel.
90 % of TCAUP students received some form of financial aid in 2007.
In 2006-2007, University of Michigan undergraduates received $244 million in financial aid. The University attaches a high priority to financial aid and has a special long-standing commitment to meeting the demonstrated financial need of eligible undergraduate students who are Michigan residents.
